Hamm. Valuable support in the fight against sudden cardiac death: the Newline Europe Insurance AG has given the non-profit organisation Definetz e.V. presented with a generous donation.

The symbolic cheque was presented by Manuel Wirtz (right) , CEO of Newline Europe Versicherung AG, to Bruni Martin, Assistant to the Board of Definetz e.V., and Dirk Wilke, the treasurer of the organisation. Definetz e.V. will use the donation to continue its work on the nationwide availability of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in Germany.

„We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to saving lives with our donation,“ said Manuel Wirtz at the handover. „The commitment of Definetz e.V. is impressive - especially the combination of educational work and the concrete expansion of life-saving infrastructure.“

Also Dirk Wilke expressed his sincere thanks: „This support helps us to further realise our goal of providing more publicly accessible defibrillators in Germany. Every AED can save lives in an emergency.“

Definetz e.V. has been campaigning for years throughout Germany to make defibrillators easier to find and use - among other things through digital recording, public relations work and awareness campaigns.
